Wi-LEM is certified to IEC 62053 Active Energy Class 1 and Reactive Energy Class 3. The overall precision is above 99%.
With Wi-LEM, is it possible to make a self-configuration of the EMNs?
Yes, because when the RF network is established the Mesh Gate has a specific register with all the ID of connected EMNs. Therefore, it is possible to individually ask them to get their current rating and attribute automatically their scaling factors.
Is it possible to get information on the RF network itself?
Yes, the Mesh Gate has several registers allowing the visualization of the RF network. For example it is possible to display the RF link strength between an EMN and a Mesh Node or to see the data path from the EMN to the Mesh Gate. These features are ideal to make the network installation and maintenance.
Is it possible to easily add a new EMN in an existing network?
Yes, as each EMN has a unique ID it is very simple to extend the network. Indeed, when the new EMN will be switch on the Mesh Gate will recognized it immediately. Through a software procedure, the scaling factors will be automatically attributed and the data will arrive.
