Internal Sales Support

Full-time based in Gross-Gerau, Germany

The function reports to the GM LEM Europe. Efficient and effective customer and sales channels support is needed for notable contribution to customer satisfaction and finally for the achievement of company and sales targets. This position will develop into a full-fledged Sales engineer role in a mid-term horizon.

Main tasks
  • Qualified, technical and application oriented customer advice, in cooperation with the competent departments and persons in the factories involved.
  • Handling of the technical and commercial customer requests, especially concerning LEM’s smart grid applications.
  • Quotations and follow-up: within the frame discounting policies, independently establish prices in line with the market and prepare special quotation under Regional Sales Manager responsibilities.
  • Contract Review: scrutiny of all incoming orders as to adherence to all given general conditions.
  • Dynamic Rolling Forecast: on-going introduction of all available information relative to customer related products and quantities into the dynamic rolling forecast, for optimal production planning of the factories.
  • Data Maintenance in CRM and ERP.
  • Support of marketing : recording of competition pricing, identification of new market and customer potentials.
  • Contribution to budget and strategic planning and its deployment (budget, Business Plan, action list….), preparation monthly and quartely reports to the sales management.
  • Mid-term: sales responsibility for specific customers/products
  • Engineering degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Strong interested and focus on sales skills.
  • Experience in similar position of at least 2-3 years.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and customer orientation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and German. French in addition would be a plus.
  • High development potential and wish with can-do attitude, proactive and result-oriented team player.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office tools, Lotus and ERP.
