DHAB
High performance Dual range (high/low range outputs) automotive current sensor designed for high performance Battery management system.
DHAB family, open loop automotive current sensor
The DHAB family is designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC or pulsed currents in high power and low voltage automotive applications with galvanic separation between the primary circuit (high power) and the secondary circuit (electronic circuit). It comes with a dual channel sensor for wider measurement range and redundancy.
DHAB gives you the choice of having different current measuring ranges in the same housing (from ±20 up to ±900 A).
This open loop automotive current sensor uses a Hall effect integrated circuit. The magnetic flux density, contributing to the rise of the Hall voltage, is generated by the primary current to be measured. The current to be measured is supplied by a current source i.e. battery or generator.
