Energy Meter Nodes

Energy Meter Nodes (EMN) – an assembly of 1 to 3 current transducers with its signal processing module. They can be deployed to measure energy consumption at any point in the power cabinet and transmit the data.

Mesh Gate

Special Features

The Mesh Gate has two specific Modbus registers to make easier the network installation and commissioning:

  • Active Devices Mapping: gives all the EMN ID connected in the network allowing to automatically attributes the right scaling factors.
  • RF Network Information Register (RSSI): gives RF strength link between two nodes (EMN or Mesh Node) allowing to simplify the wireless network deployment.

EEPROM settings for different baudrate in MG-6424

MG-6424 EEPROM

It is possible to modify the default Modbus communication baudrate into MeshGate MG-6424 by programming a different setting in EEPROM (refer to “How to modify the settings into MeshGate MG-6424” application note). Available speeds are: 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 bps.

V1.5.18 / V1.75.18 Release Note

Corrected terminate packet by timeout; in the event that the packet length is not reached by the timeout period the received data is now transferred to the process buffer regardless of the data.
The length of the packet is limited to 250 and the buffer size has been increased to 255 to prevent any overrun into adjacent data types in the memory.
