FL Series – Open Loop Coreless Integral Sensors

The FL Series is a high‑capacity family of open‑loop, coreless current sensors engineered for the precise electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with reinforced galvanic isolation. Leveraging OLCI (Open Loop Coreless Integral) technology, FL sensors are built to deliver robust performance across industrial, traction, and trackside applications requiring very high primary current handling.

Designed for extreme current levels up to 42 kA, the FL Series addresses applications with large conductors thanks to its 200 mm or 300 mm aperture options. FL sensors are available with both 4–20 mA and 0–5 V output versions, supporting straightforward integration into advanced measurement and monitoring architectures.

  • Unipolar or bipolar measurement up to 42 kA
  • Instantaneous outputs: 4–20 mA current output or 0–5 V voltage output
  • +12 V or +24 V DC power supply
  • Galvanic isolation between primary and secondary circuits
  • Factory calibrated
  • High bandwidth > 1 MHz
  • Very low delay time (< 400 ns)
