HAB - Automotive current sensors
The HAB Series current sensors are designed for accurate measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents in high‑power, low‑voltage automotive systems. They ensure reliable galvanic isolation between the vehicle’s battery or busbar and the electronic control circuitry, while offering multiple measuring ranges in a single housing, up to ±400 A.
Mounted directly on the battery cable or busbar, HAB sensors provide the vehicle’s ECU with a ratiometric voltage output, enabling precise current monitoring for energy management and protection functions.
Using open‑loop Hall‑effect technology, the HAB Series delivers robust performance suited to demanding automotive applications.

- Open‑loop Hall‑effect current transducer
- Unipolar +5 V DC supply
- Primary current measuring range up to ±400 A
- Admissible RMS primary current limited by cable, magnetic core, or ASIC temperature (T < +150 °C)
- Ratiometric voltage output (offset and sensitivity scale with supply voltage)
- Designed for low‑voltage automotive platforms
